Gunno Studio is a piano instructional studio operated out of the home of Sheryl Gunno. Piano lessons are offered to beginning and continuing pianists from child to adult.
Students discover the joy of playing music through the Piano Adventures Series which is supplemented by many other materials and activities to provide individualized teaching that meets individual needs.
Students are taught at their own pace with challenges they are able to meet.
Students become well-rounded through performance opportunities, learning to sight read, and learning music theory.
Sheryl Gunno is a certified music teacher with a Bachelor's plus 16 in music education with a piano emphasis. She taught music in the public schools for eight years, then after having a child, she decided to stay at home and operate Gunno Studio. She has accompanied and conducted choirs, directed and accompanied high school musicals, and served as a church musician. Sheryl is a musician with patience and a teacher's heart.

Summer lessons are given as available in June-August. They are paid by the lesson. Payment for these lessons is due at the beginning of each lesson by cash or check made out to Sheryl Gunno.
Lessons from September-May are paid for in advance on a monthly basis. The tuition for all lessons in a month is due on the first lesson of the month. The lessons can be paid for in cash or check made out to Sheryl Gunno. A $10.00 late fee will be charged if payment is not received by the first lesson of the month.Refunds are not given for missed lessons. Make-up lessons are given whenever possible during the month of the missed lesson or during make-up days scheduled periodically throughout the year.
Remember that your tuition reserves your lesson time.
The studio reserves the right to increase tuition annually as deemed appropriate to account for cost-of-living. The studio will give at least one month's written notice of any cost-of-living increases. The current tuition rates will be reviewed in July of 2007.
The cost of music is not included in tuition. Students are responsible for purchasing their own music.
A metronome is recommended. A good reliable metronome can be purchased inexpensively. A very expensive model is NOT necessary.
Students may be dismissed for any of the following reasons:
At any time, students wishing to withdraw from lessons may give two weeks notice and withdraw.
